Origins of Prayer
Rabbi has been pondering prayer - origins of Jewish prayer service, prayers at Sar Shalom.  Messiah all throughout the prayer.  The past influences the present.  We are all the product of that which has come before.
New covenant has over 60 references to prayer and less than 50 references to salvation.  This teaches us the importance of prayer.
